[box]By PRAVEEN[/box]

aap ka new

This will shake your faith in ‘Expiry Dates’?

The first thing to do while buying a medicine or any packed object is to “check the Expiry Date”. We have been listening to these since ages but had anyone ever checked the manufacturing year?

What will you do when you get the drug with the manufacturing year of ‘2016’ in ‘2015’ and have the expiry date of ‘2018’? As we know that drug is patient’s ‘life saver’ and companies are playing with the lives of consumers. A pack of a drug called FLAME (Ibuprofen, paracetamol and caffeine combination) has been found with manufacturing date of April 2016 and this is not ‘MNC’ but the Indian company called Vishal Pharmaceuticals. Now, the question here is, to whom can we rely on and to whom can we blame?

Recent case of Maggi showed that it had excess amount of MSG and lead in it but according to their ingredients they wrote it very less.  Who is responsible for this mistake? Do these companies have their own R&D (Research and development) centers? How can they pass the product when they didn’t check the parameters?  It is just a matter of second, which found this but just imagine if it had any side effects? Nobody knows the harm one has received because of it; every drug has its own effects and affects which is repellent to other’s body.

These are the questions that everyone thinks of and to all these, sorry is the answer. We are not threatening anyone but, a patient who expects a medicine to cure him may not get what he expects.

Caution: It’s a request from DustbinDubba team to check all the details before taking any product.

Shame on Somnath and AAP

[box]By Deeksha[/box]

its-a-conspiracy-to-defame-me-somnath-bharti

Things seem to have gone bizarrely wrong with the political party which had promised to set the politics right. Yes, you have got me right; it’s none other than AAP (Aam Aadmi Party). The party is battling with much of internal and external crises. AAP’s situation does not seem to be stable anytime soon. The fire of Jitender Singh Tomar’s arrest had not even doused when reports surfaced that Surinder Singh, an AAP MLA had also submitted fake degrees. BJP (Bhartiya Janta Party) alleged him of submitting fake degrees.

While the party was busy in crisis management, it received a blow when Somnath Bharti, one of the most talked about AAP MLA was accused of domestic violence by his wife Lipika Bharti. She has filed a complaint of domestic violence with the Delhi Commission of Women (DCW). The allegations levelled by Bharti’s wife are more than serious. She has blamed him of mental and physical torture. She has even accused him of setting dogs at her when she was seven months pregnant. Not only this, she has accused him of beating her and the children also.

According to a report in the Firstpost, relatives and close friends of Bharti, confirmed that the couple’s married life was not smooth and they were living separately for past three years. They also said that Bharti was short tempered.

The matter is under investigation and it is not right to arrive at any conclusion soon but the only question is that the MLA and the party to which he belongs to has constantly talked about women security and equal rights, but such an incident coming to light will never pave way for the upliftment of already suppressed fairer sex.

Somanth Bharti, an alumnus of IIT and a Supreme Court lawyer by profession has definitely had a good academic background and a sober professional life, but he allegedly indulged into violence against his wife. I would like to know if this is the case with the educated class then what happens with the one deprived of education.

The argument over putting an end to crime against women stops at one junction that education is one strong the solution to all such problems. Bharti’s case stands out of the ambit. The larger picture here is that AAP being a revolutionary party has shown all the utopian dreams. A major chunk of youth follow AAP and it’s every move influence them. I would here like to question what do the female followers of AAP have to say about it. Has anything changed for you?

This is not the first instance but the infamous Khriki extension case has Somnath’s name embedded in it. You can just think that how grave it was as it had got involved females from Uganda, who had allegedly blamed him of molesting and assaulting them.

The Delhi Commission of Women and AAP seem to have a very close relation with DCW summoning Bharti every now and then. Hope Kumar Vishwas case is still fresh in everybody’s memory. The only concern is that how can a party volunteer for women’s rights when its own leaders have a pseudo attitude towards the gender.

How the hell did Yoga become a Hindu vs Muslim debate?!

09ramdev1_Fotor_Collage

The world would be celebrating first International Yoga Day on June 21st. The United Nations General Assembly adopted the India sponsored International YOGA DAY in December last year. Adopting the YOGA DAY worldwide is undoubtedly a moment of pride for India. Shripad Naik, Minister of State for AYUSH, the coordinating ministry for the Yoga Day events rightly said that YOGA DAY is an opportunity for everyone in the country to showcase ancient legacy of India before the world and it will help bring pride to the country.

Yoga is undoubtedly a stress buster and brings calm and peace to the humans physically and mentally. As said by many yoga gurus, it helps in nurturing and purifying the thought process. Ironically it stands in contradiction with the reality.

Yogi Adityanath a firebrand Hindutva leader who ardently practices Yoga seems to have barely grasped the benefits of Yoga. His statement people opposing ‘Surya Namaskar’ should drown themselves in sea, shows the over or under effect of Yoga.

Not to forget, Baba Ramdev an iconic Yoga Guru, tried to fool the cops to avoid arrest by being dressed in an attire of a lady, back in 2011.( Babaji did you forget to practice your asanas that day, as you were not calm!)

Here I would like to question these ardent promoters of Yoga that does Yoga enlighten you in this fashion?

Coming on the minority sections that are opposing the Yoga calling it an imposition of Hinduism over them, does physical work out question your faith or is healthy living against your religious beliefs?

Interestingly most of the Muslim Majority nations which include Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Jordan, Tunisia etc will celebrate June 21st as International YOGA DAY.

We at DustbinDubba do not support any authoritative decisions but at the same time we support the idea of healthy living without attaching any religious beliefs to it, because none of the community promotes unhealthy lifestyle.

Yoga is the purest form of a healthy lifestyle, but leaders like to malign it by their ludicrous statements.

Flood In Arunachal Pradesh

[box]By Deeksha Saksena[/box]images (1)_Fotor_Collage

Incessant rains since past 10 days have triggered floods and landslide in Arunachal Pradesh. Papum Pare, Dibang Valley and Anjaw are the three districts that are cut off from the other parts of the state due to mighty weather conditions. Interestingly none of the media houses except the public broadcaster ALL INDIA RADIO found it worthy enough to be covered.

The heavy downpour has badly affected the road connectivity. A large stretch of the national highway-415 is washed away due to heavy downpour near Itanagar. If this would have been a case in any other North Indian state especially Jammu and Kashmir every journalist on the television would have been shedding tears in their prime time slot, sympathizing the disaster affected people.

Not to forget the recent heavy rainfall in the month of March and April was widely covered by every newspaper. The rainfall had thankfully not brought floods but it was well placed in every print medium but the floods in Arunachal failed to find a mention in any newspaper.

According to the sources connectivity has been lost on the Assam Itanagar highway which will lead to a lot of trouble in the coming days as the essential commodities  will not reach Arunachal. Chances are that there might be a rise in the prices of the essential commodities. Every media house is focussing only on Assam, forgetting that this small North Eastern state is also in danger of heavy natural calamity. The MET department has forecast heavy rainfall for Arunachal Pradesh for next 3 days

Two people have died due to landslides triggered by heavy rainfall. The Arunachal government has announced a compensation of 4 lakh each to the kin of deceased.

The heavy rainfall has affected the air field in Pasighat in East Siang district. Water supply is hampered in the area due siltation. Many pipelines have been washed away due to rains which has left many areas in Pasighat without water supply. Electricity supply is also hampered due to heavy rainfall.

Arunachal has not received much of attention ever by the authorities or by the media. The feeling of alienation amongst them is genuine if they will not be noticed even during their hard time. It is high time now when it should be brought to the mainstream. Media should act responsibly or otherwise it has no right to criticize the government for the ignorance of the state.

Yes, we are Bold Women, any problem?

[box]By Samridhi [/box]

Women……What all came to your mind, Beautiful, Adorable, Gift of God or sexy, sensational, sex object? Which part of the world are we living, where women are graded by her looks and figure not by her mental strength!!! Talking shit about women, without knowing that ‘Freedom of Expression’ is not meant only for ‘Men’ or patent to them. The other side of Preamble also says “Every citizen has equal rights” and that include Women too. If our ladies come out on street nobody can ever save the Dominant male. They also have equal right to revert back on sexist comments. The fire has just been ignited in the blood of women but will have to take a shape as early as possible. Here are few such bold steps taken by women who has set an example to the society and has slapped to the male mankind.

Vishakha Singh, South Indian actress who has also acted in Hindi films like Fukrey and Bajate Raho, shamed a deprave who posted lewd comments on one of her pictures on the social networking site.

Another we have Jasleen Kaur, who sent a message to all the girls who ignore the harassers and said that ‘it is not the receiver’s shame when they are harassed; the shame is the harasser’s!’

When NEWS kills NEWS- A journalist has allegedly been burnt alive in UP

[box]By TARUN[/box]

myhc_4243

The news room of any news channel is a very chaotic place. Stress is such that at times the mind gives up. In such conditions you can just think of that how would the decision making be affected by so many factors. Add on to this is the panic of breaking a news. Means everyone wants to be or has to be number one. In this race it’s very difficult to decide on your priorities. What essentially happens that one news item starts killing the other. In many cases insanity prevails.

While I was scrolling down my twitter handle, I got to know that a social media journalist was allegedly burnt alive at Shahjehanpur in Uttar Pradesh for writing against Samajwadi Party MLA Ram Murti on Facebook. Jagendra Singh had reportedly put up a post on Facebook against the MLA and written over his alleged involvement in illegal activities like illegal mining and forced occupation of land in newspaper.

This was caught by the idiot box (read TV) and the news broke like anything. The moment it had started grabbing the eyeballs, the item was dropped and then dead. What happened and why was it so!? The Delhi law minister got arrested. He’s allegedly forged his law degree. In this case there are two media darling called Modi and Kejriwal or say BJP and AAP were involved. Other than that, it is happening in Delhi NCR and media can cover all the aspects easily. For a case as distant as Shahjehanpur in Uttar Pradesh, they will have to spent money, time and brain that they don’t be ready about.

This isn’t the sole example. From Arushi to Tarun Tejpal most of such cases have been made or dead in a scenario of news killing news. If there wouldn’t have been this Tomer drama, the limelight would have been all set on the burning alive incident. We should be concerned about it because it’s become the fashion of India state that it’s started shooting the messenger.

We’re neither Syria nor Iraq, so how come burning alive of a journalist can be left so easily. Is it because there isn’t any glamorous ISIS is involved in it? May be that the burning footage is not available and unless it bleeds, how’d it lead?

Dear TV media editors, how could have it bleed when he was burnt?! And sir, why can’t the Tomar and the Burning Alive story go side by side? What makes you such a judge or a poor administrator? This inability of you has got the pattern of news killing news and the age and state you’ve reached; there isn’t any coming back from there. So, the ultimate victim has to be the news.

India Bangladesh on field from Tomorrow

FotorCreated

If any Journalism paper has questions like why Bangladesh is in news, what will you write? Obviously the first thing will be PM Modi’s visit to Bangladesh but let’s get aware if you are not that from tomorrow we have India vs. Bangladesh test series. So, take leave from offices, make excuses to your bosses, bunk from classes and sit back in front of television as a Lazy Lad.

Before the match starts, it has witnessed lots of tremble. Let’s have a look on them. Firstly, Bangladesh cricket team manager, Khaled Mahmud resigned ahead of the test series. After a daylong drama and talks with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) authorities, he decided to carry on for this series. Second, opener KL Rahul suddenly was confirmed with dengue and will overlook India’s lone Test in Bangladesh. God knows which Anopheles mosquito has taken revenge from him.

Under these shakes something that gave relief to cricket lovers was the ‘son of sardar’ off-spinner Harbhajan Singh who returned to the squad after playing his last international match in March 2013. All these were the updates of the upcoming match but news which relieved history to India’s glory was Rahul Dravid to coach the India Under-19 and ‘A’ teams. The trio of Sachin, Ganguly and Laxman to will be seen drawing up a roadmap for the national Indian cricket team.

This is eighth Test match between Indian and Bangladesh out of which India have won six Tests and one turning out to be a draw. Let’s keep our fingers crossed to maintain the winning cup against them. So, get ready for the superstitions like- hil mat warna out ho jayega.

No Doubt its misogyny in its greatest form

[box]By ANWESHA[/box]

kw

December 21st , 2012 around 60-70 activists of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) held a protest before the residence of Congress chief Sonia Gandhi in Delhi demanding immediate hanging of the alleged rapists of the young girl known by many names especially “Damini” in the capital. Remember this poster, such similar posters were carried out in various part of the city when Mr. Kejriwal was about to make his electoral debut in that year’s elections.

So what led a man whose primary agenda was women safety and security issue a circular saying that the controversial two-finger test on rape survivors cannot be completely banned as it may be needed to perform in some cases. Mr. Kejriwal, two-finger test is nothing but another form of marital rape. We get so conscious when something hits our private parts even accidentally then think about a situation which involves examining the hymen and the laxity of the vagina to ascertain information about the victim’s sexual history. Insertion of one finger into the vagina with difficulty is interpreted as meaning that the victim was a virgin, whereas easy insertion of two fingers suggests that she is “habituated to sexual intercourse.” This is the whole process of a two-finger test. How illogical, unscientific, inhuman and coarse.

The Union government had banned the test last year, after the Supreme Court held in 2013 that it violates a woman’s right to privacy, and asked the government to provide better medical procedures to confirm sexual assault. So is this another stunt of Mr. Kejriwal to grab the eyeballs of the media. We all know how good he is at that. Some people accuse and criticise Mr. Kejriwal for taking up controversial matters just for media publicity and attention this stunt of his definitely proves them right.

Let’s not turn everything into a media gimmick. Rape is a serious issue so let’s not rape a person who has already been raped. This misogynistic medical approach should be ceased immediately and the colonial thought should be put to rest.

“DESPITE BEING A WOMAN SHE HAS ZERO TOLERANCE FOR TERRORISM”

received_886024784804828

Now that’s not what we are saying but it came directly out of our PM’s mouth when he was on a visit to Bangladesh. And of course this controversial statement had to be followed by a lot of criticisms on social media. The Twitter world especially the women section reacted in the following manner in order to express their vexation.

For people who have absolutely no idea of what we are talking about here is the link check it out (http://bit.ly/1G5NQdD).  We are still waiting for a statement from our dear Mr. Narendra Modi but this statement has no doubt initiated the spark which can no way be ignored.
